PSYCHOTHERAPY

Psychotherapy helps you become more aware of deeply rooted patterns of thinking and acting where many of our thoughts, beliefs, and behaviours are formed and develop. so you gain a new perspective on your challenges, develop effective and healthier coping mechanisms, and achieve profound positive change.

My psychoanalytic psychotherapy links your concerns and unease to their sources and deeper roots, which you may not be aware of. We work to identify and manage the effects of previous experiences and conditioning.

Research and experience  supports the addition of meditation with psychotherapy as a method for personal insight.  I teach meditation which you can use between therapy sessions.

Psychotherapy sessions are usually 50 minutes.  The number of sessions are determined by you.

Psychotherapy is effective in managing many difficulties including:

  • stress
  • anxiety
  • depression
  • panic attacks
  • decision making
  • pain management
  • phobias and fears
  • feelings of inadequacy
  • family and children issues
  • Eating disorders
  • Interpersonal conflicts/anger
